  fireworks at midnight from at least 8 hotels will be on tv. Check it out!

  The strip will be closed from 7 PM from Sahara down to Tropicana.

  Eyecandy at Mandalay Bay is having DJ Afrika Bambaataa with Killa Kela

  Earth, Wind, and Fire performs at The Venetian

  Kanye West will perform at The Pearl Theatre in The Palms

  3 Doors Down will perform at The Joint in The Hard Rock Hotel.


• 
  Goo Goo Dolls will perform at House Of Blues in Mandalay Bay.

  $12 two motorcycle daredevils will attempt two new never before seen stunts at The Rio.
  

  
  Robbie Maddison will attempt to jump the length of a football field and set new distance jumping record and Rhys Millen will try to do a back flip off an off road racing truck.

  Jay-Z's club 40/40 was supposed to open on Dec. 21st.

  The Palazzo Tower of The Venetian had to postpone their opening until today?????

  Anyway, Beyonce performs Sun. Dec. 30th @ Mandalay Bay Events Center.

  As far as Jay-Z's party at 40/40 if the Palazzo tower isn't open, I have heard that some of the party will be transferred over to The Palms hotel , some say part of the party will be in The Pearl Theatre with Kanye West and some think part of it will be in the clubs of The Palms/ Fantasy tower…or so my sources say! If you already have tickets contact your connection to find out where the party will be. We were over at Playboy/ Moon/ The Palms last night (Sunday) and it was to capacity before midnight so if that is any indication of how crowded and hot The Palms is get there at dinner time and then deal with everything with a lot of patience, center your chakras and breathe! Good luck! It was fun but very crowded. Larry Tee, the "Clash" part of the party called "Clash and After Dark" played some killer electroclash. I have at least one double mix cd from him and it was great to hear his segways.

  People may not be able to enter many of the hotels without a current room key or tickets to either a concert or a nightclub even for the bathroom, but the city of Las Vegas has plenty of port-o-potties on the street during New Year's Eve.

  Light closed and will re-open NYE' as The Bank in The Bellagio.

  DJ Roonie G will perform at Jet NYE in the Mirage.

Dj Roonie G has released special cd's for MTV networks and does an audio/ visual live mixing style of multi-media performance.

  Paris and Nicky Hilton will host the NYE bash at LAX in The Luxor.

  There is a new club called Hawaiian Tropic Zone in Planet Hollywood.

  Kevin Federline will host the NYE party at Tangerine T.I.

  Pamela Anderson will host the party with local NBC affiliate KVBC channel 3 at PURE in Caesar's Palace.

  DJsJoey Mazzola, Richie, Warren Peace and Mr. Bob all will ring in the new year at Voodoo Lounge in The Rio.

  Studio 54 is having their 10th annual NYE bash, also located in MGM Grand.

  E40 with Kid Capri will perform at Poetry Nightclub

  Diablo's in Monte Carlo Hotel is fairly new and will have a party for NYE

  The Penthouse Club will open Friday, January 11, 2008 just west of the strip on Russell road.

  Jamie Presley and Eric Cubeechee with DJ P will ring in the New Year at Moon in The Palms.

  Playboy playmates Kara Monaco and many, many more are hosting the party at The Playboy Club in The Palms.

  On NYE these parties are separate, not like the 2 for 1 Playboy/ Moon inclusive normally.

  Dj's OB ONE and stone Rokk will spin at Ghostbar in The Palms.

  Dj Skribble with Dave Navarro on guitar will party hard in Rain in the Palms.

  Rumjungle will have DJ cb shaw spinning. Rumjungle is in Mandalay Bay.

  Celebrity Chef Kerry Simon of Simon Kitchen in Hard Rock Hotel will provide the food for a club in the Luxor called Cathouse.

  Polly Esther's is having a party on NYE too. Polly Esther's is in The Stratosphere.

  Blush is one of the newest clubs in Las Vegas. It's in the Wynn. They're having a party too. It's called Diamond's are Forever and will feature a special performance from members of Le Reve, the show at The Wynn.

  Afterhours at Krave is called Teatro. Krave is located at the corner of the strip and Harmon Ave. behind Planet Hollywood. Federico Franchi and Digital Boy both will dj/ perform.

  Mariah Carey will host the NYE party at TAO in The Venetian.


• 
  DJ's Reach and Suss One will entertain.


• 
  Prive has Avril Lavigne hosting and Lil John dj'ing for NYE.

  Body English in the Hard Rock Hotel will have DJ's Standing, 8-Bits and John Doe and more.

  Empire Ballroom will have DJ's Swedish Egil (Sirius Satellite Radio, Groove Radio), Adam Rush, Mikie Smithers, Jeff Bomb, Deone and Dmorse. This will be broadcast live on GrooveRadio.com. Free.

  Dj Kaskade will perform/ spin and DJ Joey Mazzola will perform for the afterhours sets.

  Seamless has an afterhours party on NYE with Cyberkid as the 'headlining' dj Brian Hart and Frank Charles will spin as well.

Sorry if I've left anything out, as I'm off to Van Halen and have been super busy entertaining family who are visiting from out-of-town.

We're off to Playboy / Moon to catch DJ Larry Tee, one of the dj's producers who has brought about the "Electroclash" stuff of the past several years.

I went to see LOVE Cirque du Soleil in The Mirage. Even if you HATE The Beatles I highly recommend seeing this show!

I loved every second of it.

I also took family over to Polly Esther's in The Stratosphere and danced the night away in three out of four of their rooms. It's affordable and a great place to make most people happy due to the four decades of music being played. The only thing missing is the ELECTRONIC music, which any of you who know me is something I have been into for almost two decades.

I also managed to catch Nathan Burton's Comedy/ Magic show (4:30 PM daily in Planet Hollywood). It's an "all ages" appropriate show. My kids and other family and I enjoyed the show.
