Top Ten Las Vegas Area Comedy Clubs

Something very funny happened on the way to this blog entry. There is nothing like live comedy, folks. Beats dead comedy by a long shot! (bada boom!)
I personally like to sit up front and get blotto drunk and heckle the performer - not!!
But seriously, folks, "give it up" to the "up and coming" comedic stars, give 'em a break, and give them the benefit of the doubtful one-liner. For as it says in the Good Book, give and ye (you guys) shall receive (and also you gals!).
Live comedy is possibly the only win-win situation Vegas offers. The comic will appreciate your laughter and your laughter, as we aging adults all know, is your best medicine.

Well, I'm about "cliched out" here, so exit stage left. (did I bomb or what?)

We enjoyed Second City at the Flamingo. Inexpensive tickets (They were $35 two years ago, but we got them at the 2-for-1 place near the giant Coke bottle), and the cast had some talented improvisers. None of their bits had a knockout punch, but there weren't any clunkers, either.

Thanks Dave. I almost forgot about that Coke bottle place and had to look it up. It's called Tickets2Nite.com.

My wife and I have been occasionally lucky enough to get 2-for-1 tickets for some decent shows by virtue of being "locals" - I guess the "sin tax" gives rebates sometimes!
