Art Bell Returns Tonight On Coast To Coast AM

I can't express the feeling I have when neighboring Pahrump's most famous resident, Art Bell, returns to the airways. I am going to have to say that Coast To Coast AM has not been the same since Art retired. Of all the potential replacements for Art, only local Las Vegas channel 8 TV investigative reporter George Knapp seems to have the potential to keep me interested enough to tune in every night. Unfortunately, George Knapp fills in only twice a month. Not to say that the new host George Noorey doesn't do a great job in his own way, but I do not get that same feeling ( I expressed in the first sentence ). George is adequate, while Art is pure genius. George has the mind for it, while Art has the mind and the heart.

Joining Art Bell tonight will be Professor Michio Kaku, who'll discuss his newest book Physics of the Impossible. Which makes me feel even better: my favorite theoretical physicist with my favorite talk show host. ( Stephen Hawking is my favorite Cosmologist, in case you were wondering... sorry if I bore you! )

To put the icing on the cake, Art returns again on Sunday night with guest Dr. Steven Greer. Life could not be sweeter.

Fron Wikipedia Article - Art Bell

Arthur W. "Art" Bell, III (born June 17, 1945) is an American broadcaster and author, known primarily as the founder and longtime host of the paranormal-themed radio program Coast to Coast AM.[1] He also created and formerly hosted its companion show, Dreamland. Semi-retired from Coast to Coast AM since 2003, he hosted the show on many weekends for the next four years. He announced his retirement from weekend hosting on July 1, 2007, effective immediately, but now 'guest hosts' occasionally. He attributed the reason for this latest retirement to a desire to spend time with his wife and new daughter, born May 30, 2007. He added that unlike his previous "retirements," this one will stand, while leaving open the option to return.

Bell also owns a Pahrump, Nevada-based radio station, KNYE 95.1 FM ("The Kingdom of Nye ... Things That Go Pahrump In The Night"). He broadcasted from his home in Pahrump for his entire time as host of Coast to Coast AM except from June 2006 to December 2006, when he lived in the Philippines.
