It was a perfect day for the last promoted event at Wet Republic, MGM Grand’s ultra pool. While other parts of the U.S. are already getting the season’s first snowfall, the lucky people either living or vacationing in Las Vegas were able to enjoy the sounds of Grammy award-winning, internationally renowned DJ Roger Sanchez spinning tribal house music.
Wet Republic features two spectacular saltwater pools, eight individual pools and spas, exclusive VIP Bungalows, hip party cabanas, spacious daybeds, and oversized deluxe chaise lounges. Attractive wait staff dressed in designer Ed Hardy swimsuit attire doted on patrons in cabanas and those at poolside. Pretty party pool people frolicked in the water and poolside while “The S Man” - DJ Roger Sanchez - worked the crowd into a frenzy. More happy house music fans danced across the 4,100 square foot sundeck, drinks in hand, turning the pool into one big outdoor dance party.
This beautiful and sunny October Sunday was the last promoted event to be held at Wet Republic. While pool season is officially over in Las Vegas, Wet Republic will still continue to be open on weekends through early November.
