Las Vegas Hosts Annual Academy Of Country Music® Awards

The 42nd ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC® AWARDS will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Tuesday, May 15th, 2007 at 5 PM Pacific Time. The show will be broadcast LIVE on CBS Television at 8 PM (ET/PT). For ticket or hotel information please visit Tthe "Tickets" page of the site. Attire for the Awards Show is semi-formal/cocktail. Attire for all other events during ACM Week are casual.

"Two Days of Free, Public Concerts at Fremont Street in Vegas!

WHAT: The Academy of Country Music has added on a 2nd night of all-star concerts at the Fremont Street experience in Las Vegas during The Week Vegas Goes Country®!. In addition to the previously announced Sunday, May 13, 2007 concert featuring Montgomery Gentry, Emerson Drive and Gretchen Wilson with Special Guests following the Academy of Country Music 4th Annual Charity Motorcycle Ride and Jam, they have now added on a May 12, 2007 show - also free and open-to-the-public! - featuring performances by some country's major talents including: Poverty Neck Hillbillies, James Otto, Trent Tomlinson, Ray Scott, Halfway 2 Hazard, Trick Pony, Little Texas, Keith Anderson and many more!

The Fremont Street Experience is a public-private partnership formed in 1995 between the City of Las Vegas and The Fremont Street Experience, LLC - owned by a group of 10 downtown casino/hotels that underwrite operating expenses for the venue.
